Butcher's boning knife "skinner" by Giesser, 20 cm

The blade is crafted from high-quality chrome-molybdenum steel, vacuum-hardened to a hardness of 56-57 Rockwell. The highly polished surface ensures maximum rust resistance and edge retention. Hand sharpening guarantees perfect sharpness.

The curved and narrow blade is designed for ergonomic and wrist-friendly use. The blade shape facilitates especially the pulling cut.

The standard handle is made of plastic with an exceptionally pleasant non-slip material (TPE). The well-shaped protective nose provides a secure grip and reduces the risk of slipping for the hand holding the knife.

The plastic handle is approved for contact with food and complies with the requirements of the following legal provisions (each with all amendments and in the version valid at the time of making this statement):

  • Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 on materials and articles (including active and intelligent materials and articles intended to come into contact with food) intended to come into contact with food and repealing Directives 80/590/EEC and 89/109/EEC - in their currently valid version.
  • Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 of 14 January 2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

The knives are dishwasher safe. However, for the protection of the cutting edge, we recommend manual cleaning.
