Manual with a small capacity, dedicated to households or agritourism, and larger ones, intended for the production of sausages on a larger scale. Sausage stuffers

Sausage stuffers are manual or hydraulic devices for stuffing sausages, frankfurters, salami and kabanos sausages. Used in gastronomy and the meat industry, however, they find their admirers and amateurs of healthy eating among ordinary people and, apart from large industrial stuffing machines, there are also smaller ones that can be used successfully at home.

What to consider when buying a stuffer?

When buying a stuffer, we must determine how often we will use it, whether for home-made meat products or for more industrial production and sale to hotel guests, customers of a butcher's shop. There are also some important parameters of the stuffer to consider. Capacity, type of stuffer (vertical or horizontal), whether it is manual or hydraulic piston stuffer.

Another important parameter by which we distinguish stuffers is their capacity, expressed in liters. For example, small 3 liter, 5 or 7 liter or larger 15, 30 liter and even 50 liter hydraulic piston stuffers, which are intended for larger food processors, butchers or larger catering company.

Vertical or horizontal stuffer which one to choose?

We distinguish between vertical and horizontal table stuffers. They are very often used at home, for stuffing sausages, salami or kabanos sausages, produced in small quantities. Vertical ones take up less space, but the quality of the stuffed sausages remains the same as with the horizontal devices. Devices with a larger capacity, starting from 15 liters, are usually floor stuffers or stuffers on their own transport trolleys.

The choice of a vertical or horizontal stuffer depends on individual needs. The advantage of vertical stuffers is that they take up less space and are easier to store. They do not differ in any way, and the quality of the sausages does not depend on this parameter.
