Forged sausage knife, GIESSER BestCut

The blade is made of one piece of steel with a high carbon content (X55). Hardened in a vacuum process to a Rockwell hardness of 56 - 57. Highly polished surface for the highest possible rust resistance and blade durability. Hand sanding for perfect sharpness.

The velvet-touch handle with three stainless steel rivets fits securely in the hand. This material is particularly resistant and resistant up to 200°C (short contact).

The handle is suitable for contact with food and complies with the requirements of the following legislation (each with all amendments and in the current version at the time of this declaration):

  • Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 on materials and objects (including active and intelligent food contact materials and objects) intended to come into contact with food and repealing Directives 80/590/EEC and 89/109/EEC - in their current current valid version.
  • Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 of 14/01/2011 on materials and objects made of plastic intended to come into contact with food.

The knives can be washed in the dishwasher. However, the manufacturer recommends manual cleaning to protect the cutting edge.
