Magneto Steel HyperDrill is a knife sharpener that sets a new standard in precise sharpening and blade smoothing. We designed it in collaboration with a design agency and with input from cutting professionals. After intensive practical testing, we perfected it. Ease of use is a hallmark of the Magneto Steel HyperDrill: a simple drawing motion leads to achieving the optimal cutting edge. Additionally, integrated magnets precisely guide the knife into the sharpening unit. The result is a precise cutting edge with an optimal angle. An added benefit is that the abrasive dust is attracted to the magnets.
The Magneto Steel HyperDrill is available with ultra-fine sharpening rods used for honing and smoothing the knife blade. Stainless steel protective plates effectively guide the knife in the sharpening unit and prevent the release of plastic during sharpening. At the same time, these plates have a polishing effect that does not damage the knife's cutting edge during the drawing motion. Tried and tested design features, such as tension springs with no measurable wear and stainless steel sharpening rods, have remained unchanged. The unit's mechanics are tightly sealed, making it particularly resistant to external influences.
Practical grips located at the front ensure optimal handling and a secure grip, even when wearing gloves. The Magneto Steel HyperDrill can be used as a handheld device or mounted at a workstation, with two mounting holes provided at the top. Two mounting eyelets in the upper handle area allow for unit chaining or securing with a lock to prevent theft.
