The LYS shallow plate from Duralex is made of tempered glass, to which it owes its incredible resistance to impact and chipping, as well as thermal shock - both cold and heat. It can be transferred directly from the freezer to the microwave oven. Duralex tempered glass will survive a fall to the floor, which has been tested and confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event of a possible breakage, it disintegrates into powder.
