The JAMMING S3S LG SC FO SR safety shoes from COFRA’s PROTECTIVE line are high-performance work footwear designed for intensive use in demanding environments. This model combines modern materials, innovative technologies, and advanced ergonomics to ensure maximum protection, exceptional comfort, and long-lasting durability.
The upper is made from a hybrid of materials – TECHSHELL, an ultra-durable fabric, and water-repellent leather. TECHSHELL is a next-generation textile that is abrasion-resistant, tear-resistant, water-repellent, and breathable. The high-tenacity yarns are woven directly into the fabric, guaranteeing mechanical resistance and long-term reliability. The inner lining is made from SANY-DRY®, a three-dimensional breathable polyester fabric that absorbs and releases moisture while remaining resistant to wear. Additionally, a LYCRA® elastane outer layer ensures a flexible and snug fit.
Comfort is ensured by the FOOT-PAD insole, crafted from extra-soft polyurethane with very low density. Its anatomical shape provides even weight distribution and immediate shock absorption. An added cushion under the metatarsal area and a side-hugging profile stabilize the foot even during lateral movement.
The shoe features a FIBERGLASS CAP - a non-metallic toe cap resistant to 200 J impact. To increase durability, the toe area is further protected with a polyurethane scuff cap, meeting SC certification. For underfoot protection, it uses the APT PLUS - Zero Perforation textile midsole, certified to EN ISO 22568-4:2021, which exceeds the standard’s puncture resistance requirement and offers superior thermal insulation. The anti-perforation insert contains 0.2-0.3% metallic fibers, providing antistatic properties without being detectable by low-frequency metal detectors, making these shoes suitable for high-security environments like banks and airports.
The midsole is made of polyurethane, while the outsole features TPU and recycled rubber granules. The tread design is optimized for water dispersion and grip, providing excellent traction even on wet surfaces. The central area of the outsole is engineered for ladder safety and certified to LG, while its resistance to oils and solvents is confirmed by the FO rating. The sole also meets the SR standard for slip resistance.
JAMMING shoes are also suitable for users with orthopedic or postural issues. They comply with the DGUV 112-191 German regulation, allowing the use of certified orthopedic insoles, such as those from SPRINGER, without compromising conformity with EN ISO 20345:2022.
A stabilizing insert made of polycarbonate and fiberglass is placed between the heel and the outsole to support the arch and prevent injuries caused by twisting or excessive bending. Additionally, the outsole compound is enhanced with a subtle scent to keep the shoes fresh.
