The ULISSE BLACK S2 FO SR model is safety footwear designed specifically for the food industry where hygiene and protection are crucial. The upper is made from hydrophobic and breathable NEWTECH material which ensures excellent ventilation while resisting moisture and contaminants. Inside the shoe, the lining is made of TEXELLE fabric composed of 100 percent polyamide, providing effective moisture absorption and rapid evaporation along with high abrasion resistance.
The EVANIT insole is made of a special EVA and nitrile blend. It is thermoformed, anatomical, and perforated to increase comfort and improve foot ventilation. The insole and seams are treated to be antistatic adding an additional layer of protection. A steel toe cap resistant to impacts up to 200 joules guarantees mechanical safety for the wearer.
The outsole is crafted from ultra-lightweight single-density polyurethane. Its special design offers softness and stability while walking and provides excellent grip on wet surfaces preventing aquaplaning. Additionally the sole is resistant to various chemical agents which is essential in food production environments. This footwear meets the EN ISO 20345:2022 standard and carries the additional SR certification for slip resistance.
The shoes should be hand washed in cold or warm water up to 40 degrees Celsius using neutral soap. Natural air drying is recommended without direct exposure to sunlight or heat sources. Thanks to collaboration with orthopedic workshops this product can also be adapted for users with specific foot conditions in compliance with DGUV 112-191 standard.
