The VIGO S3S CI LG SC FO SR model from the SPECIALS and WORKMATE II lines is a high-performance safety shoe designed specifically for demanding work environments, particularly welding and cold temperature conditions. Its upper made of printed water-repellent leather ensures protection against moisture and abrasions while maintaining breathability through a synthetic outer lining. Inside, the advanced SANY-DRY® polyester lining efficiently absorbs and releases moisture, offering lasting dryness and comfort throughout the workday.
The LIGHT FOAM insole made from ultra-soft polyurethane is anatomically shaped for arch support and includes an abrasion-resistant and moisture-absorbing surface. It guarantees excellent cushioning and antistatic performance. The non-metallic FIBERGLASS CAP toe and APT PLUS puncture-resistant textile midsole provide robust protection without adding weight. This model features an adjustable hook-and-loop strap closure, eliminating the need for laces and enhancing user safety in high-heat work conditions.
The dual-density polyurethane outsole was engineered to maximize grip and comfort even on ladder rungs, aided by a specific lug pattern and self-cleaning channels. The shoe is metal detector–friendly and can be safely worn in high-security environments. VIGO complies with EN ISO 20345:2022 and is suitable for use with certified orthopedic insoles in accordance with DGUV 112-191.
