The THERMIC S5S M CR AN CI HRO LG FO SR from the THERMIC BOOTS line has been designed for users working in extreme thermal conditions both in high and low temperatures. The upper made of COLD DEFENDER PU is antibacterial and resistant to temperatures down to -25 degrees Celsius providing effective protection against cold and all day comfort. The midsole made of the same polyurethane blend enhances thermal insulation and comfort while the outsole made of nitrile rubber is resistant to surfaces heated up to 300 degrees Celsius for one minute and also to low temperatures down to -25 degrees Celsius making the footwear suitable for very demanding working conditions.
The interior is lined with abrasion resistant polyester and the anatomic COLD BARRIER insole made of soft perfumed polyurethane is antistatic and insulated against low temperatures with a fleece lining ensuring optimal thermal comfort. Safety is ensured by the non metallic FIBERGLASS CAP toecap resistant to impacts of 200 joules and the non metallic APT PLUS Zero Perforation plate providing puncture protection. Additionally the footwear offers midfoot protection against impacts of 100 joules and ankle protection against accidental hits.
The special tread pattern improves stability when standing on ladder rungs while high quality eleven millimeter studs effectively remove dirt and provide excellent grip. The model has a lip to facilitate removal and its construction is suitable for environments requiring antistatic properties and minimal metal content undetectable by low frequency metal detectors.
