The LIGHT S5S AN CI LG FO SR from the LIGHT BOOTS line has been designed to provide maximum thermal comfort and user safety even in extremely low temperatures down to -25 degrees Celsius. The upper made of COLD DEFENDER PU is antibacterial and effectively protects the foot from cold while the thermo welded polyester lining increases thermal insulation and durability. The TPU outsole is resistant to low temperatures and provides stability on challenging terrain.
The FOOT-PAD insole made of very low density polyurethane adapts to the shape of the foot distributes body weight evenly and provides high shock absorption. User safety is ensured by the non metallic FIBERGLASS CAP toecap resistant to impacts of 200 joules and the non metallic APT PLUS Zero Perforation plate protecting against punctures. The footwear provides additional ankle protection against accidental impacts and has antistatic properties due to a multi layer textile insert with a minimal percentage of metal fibers.
The special tread pattern improves stability on ladder rungs while the arrangement of studs on the sole and the hollow area between the heel and sole ensure slip resistance and mechanical stress protection. The structure with longitudinal and transverse reinforcing ribs provides flexibility and support during walking. The heel lip facilitates removal of the footwear and the model can be used with orthopedic insoles according to the EN ISO 20345:2022 standard. Additionally, model LIGHT WHITE is UVR resistant.
