The BOURN S1 PS FO SR from the RUNNING line is protective footwear designed for maximum breathability and user comfort in demanding conditions. The upper is made of highly breathable fabric and its construction reduces overlapping material layers, which enhances ventilation and promotes effective sweat evaporation. As a result, the foot remains dry even during work in hot and humid environments. The SANY-DRY® lining further supports this effect while offering excellent abrasion resistance and long lasting durability.
Superior comfort is guaranteed by the FOOT-PAD insole made of ultra soft low density polyurethane. It molds to the natural shape of the foot, distributes body weight evenly and minimizes fatigue. Shock absorption is reinforced by a specific cushioning zone in the heel area. The aluminium toe cap provides reliable protection against impacts up to 200 J, while the non metallic APT PLUS plate ensures zero perforation. An additional TPU toe guard enhances durability and resistance to mechanical wear.
The polyurethane TPU sole has a thin, lightweight and sporty structure that flexes naturally with the movement of the foot. It delivers outstanding cushioning that protects the spine and joints, while the closely spaced lugs ensure grip and slip resistance in every direction. The sole compound is enriched with a pleasant fragrance that adds to everyday comfort. This model can also be used with certified orthopedic insoles in accordance with DGUV 112-191.
