Regardless of the type of processing - be it poultry, beef, pork or fish - sharp knives are the basis of the production line. Knife blades dull with use. The ergonomic Ergo Steel II by PRIMEdge is a quick and easy way to sharpen and smooth knives that have lost their razor sharpness.
Ergo Steel II is a device useful in the production hall. During the day, when the knife dulls, the operator can run the blade through the Ergo Steel bars and sharpen the knife in seconds. Ergo Steel II consists of two cooperating rods bent in the right way to give the blade the right profile. The bars are made of hardened stainless steel and fixed to a base made of polypropylene.
A closed spring mechanism mounted under each bar ensures a perfectly sharp blade and the right tension between the sharpened knife and the bars. Ergo Steel II aligns both edges of the blade simultaneously, allowing you to get a perfect result in seconds. Operation does not require training. The device can be mounted to the table top at each workstation, or held in the hand with a special handle (HES-2H) for a left- or right-handed operator.
