The WILCO Chainmail Glove is a Category II personal protective equipment (PPE) made entirely of 100% stainless steel, providing exceptional protection against cuts and stabs in various professional applications. The glove features a stainless steel fastening spring integrated into the mesh, ensuring optimal fit, enhanced durability, and improved fastening security. Its design prioritizes maximum flexibility and freedom of movement, reducing operator fatigue and discomfort during prolonged use. For added convenience and versatility, the glove is available in both right-handed and left-handed versions, and its reversible construction allows it to adapt to different tasks and situations.
The WILCO Chainmail Glove is ideal for use in slaughterhouses and the meat industry during boning and cutting operations, in catering establishments for processing meat, fish, and shellfish, as well as in the plastics, leather, textile, and paper industries. It is also suitable for laying floor coverings and similar work. The glove features a wire diameter of 0.5 mm, an internal ring diameter of 3 mm, and an external ring diameter of 4 mm. The wrist and forearm fastening is equipped with a stainless steel spring protected by mesh, while the long cuff and blade stop cuff are reinforced with stainless steel stiffeners.
This product complies with the (EU) 2016/425 regulation on personal protective equipment and meets the NF EN 1082-1 and ISO 13999-1 standards for protective clothing against cuts and stabs, as well as the NF EN 14328 standard for protection against cuts from powered knives. The stainless steel meets the requirements of the decree of January 13, 1976, on materials in contact with food, and complies with the NF EN 1811 + A1 standard for nickel release in prolonged contact with the skin. The glove is also in line with Article 33 of the REACH Regulation No. 1907/2006.
