In general, you can use these star-shaped tips with or without an adapter in a piping bag. The advantage of using an adapter is that you can switch between different nozzles without having to empty the piping bag beforehand, as you can simply replace the nozzle during work.
If you want to use an adapter, the suitable size for these plastic tips is the XXL adapter.
After using the star-shaped tip, it should be immediately washed under hot running water using dishwashing liquid and a nozzle-cleaning brush. This ensures that no residues remain in the tips after cleaning, extending their lifespan.
