In the set, you will find 6 jars with corresponding lids, providing a practical solution for storing and transporting desserts. These Weck jars not only serve a practical function but also become a designer element, highlighting the aesthetic and flavorful qualities of the served dishes.

Dessert Jars are specialized glass containers designed for the professional presentation and serving of portioned desserts. These containers combine functionality with aesthetics, meeting the demands of modern gastronomy regarding hygiene, durability, and the visual appeal of served dishes. In the HoReCa segment, dessert jars serve a dual purpose — they function both as transport packaging and as elegant vessels for direct serving.

The construction of dessert jars is based on lead-free glass with a minimum thickness of 2–3 mm, ensuring resistance to temperature fluctuations from -20°C to +80°C. Standard capacities are 0.08 L, 0.14 L, 0.16 L, and 0.58 L, corresponding to dessert portions in line with nutritional standards. The base dimensions of 5.5 x 5.5 cm with a height of 9 cm provide optimal presentation of the contents while maintaining stability during transport and storage.

In professional gastronomy, dessert jars are used for serving mousses, panna cotta, tiramisu, creams, parfaits, and layered desserts. Airtight lids with silicone gaskets enable storage at refrigeration temperatures for up to 72 hours without loss of organoleptic qualities. The tulip shape in premium models enhances visual presentation, especially for desserts with decorative elements.

Our range features five main categories of dessert jars:

  • Glass jars: Classic lead-free glass jars, ideal for mousses, creams, ice cream, tiramisu, and other desserts. Available in various capacities and shapes to suit every type of dessert.
  • Jars with lids: Practical jars with airtight lids that preserve the freshness of desserts and facilitate storage. Perfect for taking on picnics, trips, or to work.
  • Decorative jars: Elegant jars with decorative motifs that become true table ornaments. Ideal for special occasions such as birthdays, holidays, or parties.
  • Jars with handles: Convenient jars with handles that make it easier to carry and serve desserts. Perfect for hot dishes such as chocolate fondant or soufflé.
  • Miniature jars: Charming miniature jars, ideal for dessert tastings or sweet gifts. Available in various shapes and colors to suit every taste.

The technical specifications of dessert jars include the following parameters:

  • Material: lead-free glass, food-grade plastic lids
  • Thermal resistance: -20°C to +80°C, dishwasher safe up to +65°C
  • Available sets: 3, 6, or 12 pieces with lids included
  • Certifications: compliant with FDA and EU 10/2011 standards for food contact

Selection criteria for dessert jars in gastronomy equipment include: capacity suited to portion size, shape influencing dessert presentation, quality of sealing for transported products, and resistance to intensive use in commercial dishwashers. Renowned brands such as Weck guarantee dimensional consistency, which is important for portion standardization.

In practical gastronomy, it is recommended to maintain a stock of jars amounting to 150% of daily demand, taking into account washing and disinfection time. Proper storage in an upright position on stainless steel shelves prevents mechanical damage, while labeling with the production date facilitates FIFO rotation in warehouse processes.
