The KHOPER S7S CI LG SC FO SR boots from COFRA’s PROTECTIVE line are robust, high-performance safety shoes designed for professionals working in environments with high humidity, exposure to water, and low temperatures. Every component of this footwear is engineered to deliver maximum protection, lasting comfort, and superior durability.
The upper is made from hydrophobic full-grain leather that ensures water resistance and durability, while sealed seams provide added protection against moisture penetration. Internally, the SANY-DRY® 3D polyester lining ensures breathability and efficient moisture management. The external lining is made from breathable material, further enhancing climate comfort inside the shoe.
The insole, FOOT-PAD, is crafted from ultra-soft, low-density polyurethane that conforms to the shape of the foot. It ensures proper weight distribution, excellent shock absorption, and long-term comfort, enhanced by a padded zone under the metatarsals and a supportive lateral profile that keeps the foot stable even during side movements.
The shoe’s toe cap is made from FIBERGLASS CAP, a non-metallic composite resistant to 200 J impacts. The APT PLUS Zero Perforation midsole plate made from HT polyester provides exceptional puncture protection while remaining lightweight, flexible, thermally insulating, and antistatic. The protective polyurethane toe scuff cap offers resistance against abrasion and mechanical damage, meeting SC certification standards.
The outsole is constructed from a combination of polyurethane and TPU enriched with recycled rubber granules. Its smart tread pattern improves grip on wet surfaces and offers maximum flexibility. The central tread area is specially designed for stability on ladder rungs, validated by the LG certification. The sole also offers slip resistance (SR), resistance to fuels and hydrocarbons (FO), and excellent traction even under challenging conditions.
Designed with worker well-being in mind, the KHOPER model can accommodate orthopedic insoles certified under the German DGUV 112-191 regulation. In cooperation with orthopedic workshops, COFRA has re-certified select models to ensure compatibility with custom insoles like those made by SPRINGER, without compromising safety standards.
Free of metallic components, the KHOPER boots remain undetectable by standard metal detectors, making them suitable for use in high-security environments. Between the heel and sole, a polycarbonate and fiberglass insert provides structural support and protects the foot’s arch from twisting or bending injuries. The sole is also enhanced with a pleasant scent to keep the footwear feeling fresh throughout the day.
