Boning knife from the German brand Giesser

Knife with a flexible blade, curved upwards, 15 cm long, by the valued German brand Giesser. The blade is made of the best quality chrome-molybdenum stainless steel, which has been polished to a high gloss. This gives the knife additional protection against corrosion and preserves the edge. The knife in the final phase is ground by hand.

The knife is designed to work in the meat industry. Most often used in slaughterhouses and butchers to separate meat from bones (boning). The curved and narrow blade is ideal for ergonomic and wrist-friendly work. The shape of the blade facilitates, in particular, the pulling cut, which is important in the work of a butcher.

Standard handle made of TPE plastic. Available only in black. Ergonomically shaped with an extended nose for better protection of the hand and preventing accidental slipping onto the edge of the blade.

The plastic handle is approved for contact with food and meets the requirements of the following regulations (each with all additions and in the version valid at the time of making this declaration):

  • Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 on materials and articles (including active and intelligent food contact materials and articles) intended to come into contact with food and repealing Directives 80/590/EEC and 89/109/EEC - in the currently applicable version.
  • Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 of 14 January 2011 on plastic materials and objects intended to come into contact with food.

The knives can be washed in the dishwasher. However, to protect the cutting edge, we recommend hand cleaning.
