Giesser knife with a strongly curved blade made of high-quality chrome-molybdenum steel, vacuum-hardened to a hardness of 56-57 Rockwell. The highly polished surface ensures maximum rust resistance and edge retention. Manual sharpening ensures perfect sharpness.

The standard handle is made of plastic and crafted from an exceptionally tactile non-slip material (TPE). Well-shaped protective bolster provides a secure grip and reduces the risk of slipping for the hand holding the knife.

The plastic handle is approved for food contact and complies with the requirements of the following legal regulations (each with all amendments and in the version applicable at the time of issuing this statement):

  • Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 on materials and articles (including active and intelligent materials and articles) intended to come into contact with food and repealing Directives 80/590/EEC and 89/109/EEC – in the currently applicable version.
  • Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 of 14 January 2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

Knives can be washed in the dishwasher. However, for the protection of the cutting edge, we recommend hand cleaning.
