The blade of this knife is made of high-quality chromolybdenum steel, subjected to vacuum hardening, providing a hardness level of 56-57 Rockwell. Thanks to precise manual grinding and a highly polished surface, the knife not only maintains sharpness exceptionally well but also exhibits high rust resistance. The classic blade shape, with a straight back, makes it ideal for various culinary tasks.
The knife is equipped with a standard plastic handle designed for ergonomic and secure grip. The TPE material used in the handle is not only slip-resistant but also pleasant to the touch. Additionally, the well-shaped protective bolster enhances the safety of holding the knife, minimizing the risk of accidental slipping of the hand.
Giesser 4025 21 butcher knife meets all standards regarding food contact, following applicable legal regulations such as Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 and Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011. It's worth noting that all knife components, except for wooden ones, are suitable for dishwasher cleaning. However, for maintaining the sharp cutting edge, we recommend hand cleaning.
