Skinning knife with grooved blade, 18 cm, Giesser

A professional knife for the meat industry, for employees of slaughterhouses and butchers as well as for fish processing companies. Knife with a grooved blade and polished to a high gloss. The grooves prevent the meat from sticking to the edge of the blade. Made of the best materials, chrome molybdenum stainless steel vacuum hardened to 56-57 degrees Rockwell. Thanks to these treatments, the resistance to rust and the durability of the blade have been increased.

Standard plastic handle made of a particularly non-slip and pleasant to the touch material (TPE). The well-shaped sheath ensures a secure hold and reduces the risk of slipping when holding the knife.

The plastic handle is suitable for contact with food and complies with the requirements of the following legislation (each with all amendments and in the current version at the time of this declaration):

  • Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 on materials and objects (including active and intelligent food contact materials and objects) intended to come into contact with food and repealing Directives 80/590/EEC and 89/109/EEC - in their current current valid version.
  • Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 of 14/01/2011 on materials and objects made of plastic intended to come into contact with food.

The knives can be washed in the dishwasher. However, the manufacturer recommends manual cleaning to protect the cutting edge.
