Knife with a rigid blade 16 cm, Giesser

Butcher's and butcher's knife, boner with a rigid straight and wide blade, 16 cm long, made of chrome-molybdenum stainless steel, vacuum-hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 56-57 degrees. Blade polished to a high gloss for added corrosion protection and to preserve the edge of the blade. Knife ground by hand at the final stage of production to ensure perfect sharpness.

The standard handle, available in various colors, is made of TPE plastic, which is extremely pleasant to the touch. The ergonomic and non-slip handle with an extended nose minimizes the possibility of the hand slipping onto the edge of the blade.

The plastic handle is suitable for contact with food and complies with the requirements of the following legislation (each with all amendments and in the current version at the time of this declaration):

  • Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 on materials and objects (including active and intelligent food contact materials and objects) intended to come into contact with food and repealing Directives 80/590/EEC and 89/109/EEC - in their current current valid version.
  • Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 of 14/01/2011 on materials and objects made of plastic intended to come into contact with food.

The knives can be washed in the dishwasher. However, the manufacturer recommends manual cleaning to protect the cutting edge.
